Jetmapp Registered Nursing Program is designed to prepare graduates on how to provide safe and compassionate nursing care under the supervision of a registered nurse or licensed physician. Upon completion of the program, students will be equipped and eligible to seat for NCLEX-RN exam.

Up-to-date all immunization and provide to the registrar office a general documented medical physical form, which will be kept in the student file prior to beginning externship.

Pass the Basic Skills Test

Provide evidence of meeting immunization requirements by providing a negative urine and drug screening, evidence that you are free of active tuberculosis, and have immunizations for measles, mumps, rubella, varicella.

Provide evidence of Florida Department of Law Enforcement Level 2 Background Check and 12 Panel Drug Screen

Provide proof of current certification by the American Heart Association : Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) card with Basic Life Support (BLS) for Health Care Providers

PROGRAM OBJECTIVE:
Upon completion of this program, graduates will possess the skills and hands on experience needed to become entry level Patient Care Technicians, utilizing patient care skills in a variety of healthcare settings
PROGRAM DESCRIPTION:
The Patient Care Technician program is designed to train students in all of the relevant aspects of patient care, including personal care, physical comfort, diagnostic testing specifically electrocardiography, phlebotomy, home health care needs, providing post-operative care, geriatric care and other critical functions. Graduates of this program will be prepared to work at the entry level in hospitals, home health agencies, clinics, laboratories and other healthcare settings. Upon completion of this program students will receive a diploma. Student may begin working in their field of training as soon as their diploma is received.

The Nursing Assistant Prep class is designed for Home Health Aide who wants to advance their career as a nursing assistant. After the completion of this review course, candidates will be ready to seat and successfully pass the written and skill performance examination to become a Certified Nursing Assistant(CNA). The program includes hands-on practice of the 22 skills and questions similar to the board exam.

Overview

The Home Health Aide program is designed to train students who wants to begin a medical career to Home Health Aides. The program provides student with the knowledge and ability to make a positive impact on the lives of the sick, disabled, and elderly. Home health aides (HHAs) assist patients with completing important personal tasks such as dressing, bathing and a variety of hygiene needs. As a Home Health Aide, students are trained to work, in the home, assisted living or nursing home facilities. Upon completion of this program students will receive a diploma. Student may begin working in their field of training as soon as their diploma is received.
